TEDANCARI - About Us (Theatre dance La Caridad) Tedancari
Dance (theatre dance La Caridad) was founded in September, 1992, by
Marta Bercy, Master Choreographer of Modern Cuban Dance and Afro Cuban
Dances, originally under the name of Grupo “Proyectos”. The Company had
its debut with the production of “Litoral Gualambao” in the Presidente
Alvear Theatre of Buenos Aires (Argentina), which featured prestigious
Argentine artists such as Antonio Tarragó Ros, Ramón Ayala “El Mensú”
and Teresa Parodi, among others. Still operating under the name Grupo "Proyectos", Tedancari produced pieces performed in Tedancari Dance Company (Dance & Theatre of Our Lady of Charity) was officially Tedancari also created and still holds Intensive Dance Workshops twice a year. "Workuba" Tedancari also offers performances in small formats, etc., depending on the interest |

The TEDANCARI Company is worlwide sending, novel artistic proposals, in a language melting contemporary dance, afro american dances, the Caribbean, theater, songs, music and the sound of african bata drums.
Marta Bercy is the director, master and choreograph.

TEDANCARI made the scenic debut in the first Cuban Latin Afro Festival in Argentina (7 to the 12 of October of 2003), in the prestigious Atheneo Theater ND, of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Plays like "Eleggua and the Dreams" and "Open Way", have received the enthusiastic tribute of a demanding public.
