Tedancari Dance (theatre dance La Caridad) was founded in September, 1992, by Marta Bercy, Master Choreographer of Modern Cuban Dance and Afro Cuban Dances, originally under the name of Grupo “Proyectos”. The Company had its debut with the production of “Litoral Gualambao” in the Presidente Alvear Theatre of Buenos Aires (Argentina), which featured prestigious Argentine artists such as Antonio Tarragó Ros, Ramón Ayala “El Mensú” and Teresa Parodi, among others.

Still operating under the name Grupo "Proyectos", Tedancari produced pieces performed in
different local theatres of Buenos Aires until 2003, when the dance company's new name of

Tedancari Dance Company (Dance & Theatre of Our Lady of Charity) was officially
adopted. Tedancari still produces and performs Dance and Theatre on the stages of
Buenos Aires theatres today under its current name.

Tedancari also created and still holds Intensive Dance Workshops twice a year. "Workuba"
- International Workshop of Modern, Afro Cuban and Latin Dances - is proud to have an
experienced and talented teaching staff. Many of Workuba's dance instructors are members
of the Tedancari Dance Company.

Tedancari also offers performances in small formats, etc., depending on the interest
expressed as well as the different requests put forth. Tedancari is Dance Company that
specializes in Afro-Cuban & Modern Dance. Its members are from Argentina.


The TEDANCARI Company is worlwide sending, novel artistic proposals, in a language melting  contemporary dance, afro american dances, the Caribbean, theater, songs, music and the sound of african bata drums.

Marta Bercy is the director, master and choreograph.

TEDANCARI  made the scenic debut in the first Cuban Latin Afro Festival in Argentina (7 to the 12 of October of 2003), in the prestigious Atheneo Theater ND, of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Plays like "Eleggua and the Dreams" and "Open Way", have received the enthusiastic tribute of a demanding public.

TEDANCARI: is the artistic and creative homage to the Virgin Boss of Cuba: " The Charity of the Copper ", who from his side of Ochun, inspires us with his laugh of drums. That's why, Theater Dance of the Charity.
